BlueCast X-One V2: High-Quality Castable Resin for Perfect Print Results

BlueCast X-One V2 is a specially formulated castable resin for DLP and LCD printers. Thanks to its low-temperature melting polymer, it guarantees a smooth surface finish.

This resin was developed by BlueCast to achieve optimal casting results with various investment materials and burnout cycles. It is the first castable resin with no shrinkage and offers exceptional dimensional stability.

Tips for printing
Before Printing After Printing
  • The resin solidifies below 18°C due to the low melting polymer. Heat to 25-40°C before use, optimal is 20-30°C.
  • Shake the bottle for one minute before pouring the resin into the tank.
  • To remove air bubbles, let the resin sit in the tank for 5 minutes before printing or filter it.
  • Due to the low melting polymer, supports need to be larger. Avoid contact points below 0.4 mm and ensure the ring shank is properly supported.
  • Do not store resin in the tank. Filter after printing and store it in the original bottle.
  • Parts printed with this resin are more delicate, especially intricate designs and prongs. Handle with care.
  • Clean prints with 91% to 99% ethyl alcohol.
  • After washing, dry the prints with compressed air.
  • After the first wash, spray the prints with fresh 91% to 99% ethyl alcohol or IPA and dry again to improve casting quality.
  • Allow sufficient time for the alcohol to evaporate after washing before further processing the models. Post-curing can accelerate alcohol evaporation and make the prints more rigid.
